Support and Counsulting

In addition to training and maintenance (software upgrades, enhancements and bug fixes) services, Providence is providing support and consulting services.

Providence provides two types of support level services that go beyond maintenance services: Silver and gold.

Silver Support (only available by phone or electronic communication means) is designed to:

  1. Answer product how-to and usage questions and reduce the learning curve.
  2. Provide access to dedicated support resources.
  3. Guarantee a response within a specific timeframe that varies with the severity of the problem. For example, if your mission critical application no longer works, providence will assign resources on a continuous basis until a solution to the problem has been found.

Gold Support provides access to on-site consulting and is available only in certain regions where Providence is able to fly its consultants within reasonable timeframes.

Support services are available for XVT releases that are no longer maintained and for existing XVT applications that are not economical to maintain in-house.

In addition, providence provides consulting service to help organizations make the best use of XVT (architecture support), migration of existing applications from one platform to another one (porting support), and enhance XVT applications (application development services).

All these services are provided on a Time and Material (T&M) basis.
