XVT announces April release of 5.8
Providence Software announced today that XVT release 5.8 was released in April 2007. Version 5.8 has new features added, bug fixes completed and tested, and improved Design and Architect tools that simplify GUI development, enabling RAD (Rapid Application Development)and Agile development methodologies. In addition to the current platforms, XVT version 5.8 includes the new HP Itanium platform. We are now fully functional on 64 bit applications for Windows, Linux, and HP.
We are grateful for our advanced customers that share their feedback and suggestions with us, allowing us to continuously improve our products on the issues that matter most to cross platform developers. We are already working towards another major release for the second quarter of FY2008.

XVT Releases version 5.7
Providence Software Solutions Releases XVT version 5.7. This release is the latest entry in the industry's leading cross-platform development tool suite. Version 5.7 has been updated to use all the latest compilers including Microsoft Visual Studio 8.0 for Windows. Both the C product DSC and C++ product DSP are being released today. Windows 64 bit and Linux 64 bit will be available soon.

Providence Software Solutions, Inc. acquires the Orca product line!
Providence Software Solutions, Inc. again adds to it growing suite of Cross-Platform development tools by acquiring the Orca XI and XIP products from PowerVista (formerly Orca Software.) The XI product adds a spreadsheet object to the XVT DSC and DSP product line. The XI product was developed to work with XVT and is in use by hundreds of XVT clients today. By joining these products together, the sales, upgrades, maintenance and support will be performed by the same professional XVT support team today.

XVT Sets New Standard for Cross-Platform Development
Providence Software Solutions Releases Newest Version of XVT Providence Software Solutions, Inc., today released the latest version of XVT. XVT is the first cross-platform development tool to provide the capability to build graphical applications that can be deployed in a standalone fashion as well as over the web through a simple recompilation process. XVT Web applications maintain the look, feel and performance of the native platform, saving XVT users precious development time and money. The product names that provide these new capabilities are DSCNET and DSPNET.
